Feevaleo " More Folks Than Food"

This up and commer was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland Since moving to New York about 6 years ago. He graduated from St. John’s University with a bachelors in marketing. He has collaborated with some of New York’s most renowned rappers such as Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. After two mixtapes(Don’t Sweat The Cool and Moment of Silence) His Current Project,More Forks Than Food, is a socially conscience reflection on the life, times, struggle and “grustle” of those people that are most affected by the current recession. As he puts it “No matter what your situation may be, personally or professionally, we ALL gotta eat! That becomes a problem when there’s more forks than food.” Watch out for More Forks Than Food this fall.

Winter Wears.

I plan on doing this outfit for the winter. I still love moncler jackets, and I need one baaad! Also I love levi's stacked jean. I plan to keep it old school with the fedora, and some adidas "shelltoes" or some clarks desert boots. No need to have a graphic tee, I'm gonna keep it simple with the american apparell.

Passion Pitt feat Al peace " Sleepyhead" ( Remix)

Al peace does a wonderful rendition of one of my favorite Passion Pitt songs! Their cd is available for only 8 bucks now what a steal. Chunk of Change is now available on Amazon. Find Al peace on myspace.com/alpeace.He will also be featured on our (ABLT) mixtape releasing via the internet on September 1, 2009!

UCB feat. Wale – “Pat Your Weave” BTS

Even if you don't like Go-Go, you have to respect the movement. I like Go-Go, thanks to Wale's original records, such as " Ice Cream Girls" which fused Go-Go sound together with Hip-Hop. I also think the record " Pretty Girls" is a monster. I respect Rik Cordero and his team as well because of his creative visions in all of Three21media videos. This video should be out soon!

FOREVER ft Wayne, Yeezy and Eminem

Beanie Sigel- In the Ghetto

Beans is a true street poet. That first verse gave me chills.

"The hood is desolate, block dark as its ever been...Aint nobody gettin' money.. they just gettin' by/ tryna' suppress their poverty by getting high."-Beanie Sigel

Mullyman- Like I just came home

MULLYMAN came through with a party track, that make a dude wanna do the wop right quick!

" They never thought he would do it, but damn he really did it"- Mullyman

Soul Cannon

REAL TALK. This is one of my favorite groups right now in Baltimore, and Just period. My man Greenspan put me on to them a little while back, and I then proceeded to ask them to Join the other groups on our developing mixtape. They were more than willing, and I am honored to be apart of trying to shed some light on there music. Their vibe is similar to The Roots in the 90's. You have a powerful emcee Eze Jackson ( the black gentleman in the purple ;) along with a band who gives a mellow jazz feel. They do shows all around the U.S. Hit me for any info on these guys! or check out their website and listen to their music @ SOULCANNON.COM

" Use any means just to make it /I met reality half naked and couldn't face it"- Eze Jackson ( Dilapidated Buildings)

Oh Did I mention: Soul Cannon's Kaboom! is an eleven track full album. It is available on iTunes for $9.99.

Nina Simone- Baltimore

This song is toooo real. I can feel every word.

Blueprint 3 tracklisting!

There's alot of talk about jay-z trying to be too cool because of his recent collaborations with neophyte artists. I personally think that Jay-z is doing a great thing. People always say no one is trying to let new artist come in, and start a new generation. Well here is the self-proclaimed " God- emcee" leading the way. Even with features in the past, Jay-z has always held his own. I don't doubt that this CD will be great. Also a cd doesn't have to be a classic to change, or influence the game. Good music is good music. I don't feel like Kanye's 808's and Heartbreaks was a classic, but it was a great album, and it had a major influence. We all judge Jay-z so much, because he is so great. We don't want him to make mistakes. If he makes a mistake, we automatically say, " he's wack now". When in reality, Jay-z is better then more than 50% of emcees on a bad day. Let's sit back and see what happens, shall we?

Lola Maxwell

This beautiful young lady is Lola Maxwell. A 20 year old D.C native, is puttin' on for the ladies, and emcees in general. I originally saw her in New York at Yams show. I liked her stage presence, but hesitated on checking her out. The homie Trey R. told me to check it out, so here I am writing. Her latest effort is called " Check the Rhyme". Please give it a listen yall. Music is best digested on your own time, so do just that. She recently just performed at Baltimore's Stone Sole Picnic. Sorry i missed it, the pic's look as if she did her thing. RESPECT.

" Them other female emcee's don't faze me"- Lola Maxwell

CHECK THE RHYME DOWNLOAD

* Correction - I think she just performed in D.C.'s Stone Sole Picnic. Sources tell me Bmore hasn't had one yet?

This week

This week was a journey. I have been enjoying my new job. I'm working at Hats in the Belfry in fells point. My other dog Mufasa just died after 15 years. That was my lil bro. I loved that dog.smh. Me, court, and Will went to Sushi RA downtown. It was real swanky. Ooh baby I like it Raaaaaaaw. Then this storm came outta nowhere and we got trapped. I had a hot-dog and I almost chocked on it, running in the rain. hahaha.( i'm officially a lard ass) Me and my lil sis went to the crab feast which is family tradition, and I got schooled by some older cats. Went to the studio with Trey, and did hella push-ups there because i'm trying to get toned up for no reason at all. Yea, my week was ok, how bout u?

Amanda Blank- I Love You

New Album from Amanda Blank. Her music has a club feel against unapolegetic sexual wordplay similar to her compadre spankrock. She shows her lyrical dexterity on this album while also parterning with the likes of lykke li. This album is available for 7.99 on Itunes w/ a t-shirt. Support this gal, she has somethin' different!

This is my Joint right now!

One of my previous fav's from her is this re-mix of Santogold's I'm a lady w/ LL Cool J's " I need Love"
