It's not too late.

...But you should be ashamed if you aren't informed about this young man.

WALE is a representative of our nations capital. This dude has been killing every song I've heard him on. His mixtape cuts sound like they could be on an album. He raps over some go-go beats, but don't be quick to call him a go-go rapper. This dude can spit!

His song "Dig-Dug" was the most requested song by a local rapper in D.C. ever. He went on tour with DJ Mark Ronson, and even signed a production deal with his record company.

These are some of my favorites!

P.S. I know this blog is called a Baltimore love thing but....real niggas give love where love is due. peace.

Dom Kennedy

What are the qualities that your favorite emcee possesses? Trendsetter? Classic? Storyteller? Lyrical?Funny? How a bout a little bit of braggadocio? If these are some of your favorite traits, maybe Mr.Kennedy is the canidate for you. Dude reps his native Lemeirt Park, California so much I feel like I've lived there. He has a mellow, chill flow that coincides with the beat and paints a scene at the same time. It is hard to describe or compare his flow to others but if anyone, I would compare him to Q-tip of A Tribe Called Quest. The newest song ive heard "watermelon sundae" gives off that 90's era flavor that makes you wanna sing along with it. I would definitley check to see this dude in the future!

BEA GADDY (Bmore's Mother Teresa)

In honor of this being Black History month, I decided to put you fools up on one of the most respected people in my city. Beatrice Frankie Fowler born in Wake Forest, North Carolina, outside Raleigh. She was an incredible woman. She came from a broken home and was a high-school dropout and twice-divorced mother of five. She helped the city's poor by starting a community kitchen aided by the food donations of others. Gaddy also ran a shelter for women and children, and a program that fixed up abandoned rowhouses for unfortunate families. She succumbed to breast cancer in October 2001. She was 68 years old. Let her be an example that you don't have to come from much to have a lasting impact on the world. peace.

Lupe Touche'

What's up at the sound garden?

What do you like about Lupe Fiasco's music?
January 27, 2008
"His music is lyrically intelligent."—Willie Smith (left)"He's educational, inspirational and political."—Courtney Lyons"He's not afraid of the issues."—Ryan Lyons (right)

They recently put me and my friends on the net at the lupe sign-in downtown. The concert was amazing. Even better than last years. He had appearances from everyone on his album. Funny thing is i didn't even know that gemini could sing all that time.lol. but the energy was incredible, lupe fiasco performed a lot of hits from his catalog. Only thing i wished is that he did more of the mixtape shit.
PROPS TO WILLIE SMITH FOR THE PICS!

Big Noyd

I don't know if you guys remember Big Noyd. But he used to be a big affiliate of Mobb Deep. Nows he's back and out of the shadows with a new album entitled illustrious

'you gotta throw on those scooby doos..those are shoes by the way..put on them scooby doos'

This is by far one of my favorite collaborations. I always love the simplicity of vans shoes. But until now they hurt my feet because regular stores don't carry half sizes for some reason. So i was strollin through Shop Gentei one day and they had these wtapsXvans collabo sneaker. Ive seen them on the net for like 175 and i was like hell nah...but Gentei had them for like 85 which is way more reasonable considering vans are only likie 40 anyways. But the shoes are definitley dope.

Past times

Of all the various things my friends and i do, I think the best pasttime would be pool. If only we didn't come out of their late night smelling straight like cancer sticks it would be even better. I sucked at first but now I'm killing evertime we go in there. U'd be suprised at how many people from different walks of life come in the pool hall. From private school looking asians to straight thugs to late-night trucker dudes.
