Heroes
I think it's time we speak on Heroes. Baltimore's climate has housed some of the most talented people in the world. Today I will speak on two who are dear to the city. Tupac Shakur, and Jada Pinket. In 1985 Pac's family moved to Baltimore. He attended Roland Park middle( I went there!) and spent his freshman year at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High. Tupac was accepted to the Baltimore School for the Arts during his sophmore year where he studied theater, ballet, poetry, jazz amongst other things. Tupac was a far cry from the things he expressed in some records. He was indeed a complex individual. He was able to grow his creativity at The School of The Arts. He also played the mouse king in the ‘Nutcracker’ play. This very art school is where Jada Pinkett became friends with Tupac.
He studied eastern religions and philosophy His love of Literature led him into rapping. He went under the moniker "MC New York". These artist both went on to pursue their dreams. Pac became a Multi-platinum Hip-Hop artist, and actor. Jada Pinket has gone on to star in many powerful films, and Everybody has a story about Pac' or Jada Pinket here. My cousin used to baby-sit her. When people know that someone came from your same neighborhood it lets them know they can do it too. Recognize your Heroes, follow their footsteps, and make your own destiny!
The two Co-star on A different world. I'm sure yall remember this!
