Being as it is a blog based loosely on Baltimore life. I'd figure i show you a glimpse of the talent comming from here.Lets start of with local( and now international) Dj/producer DJ BLAQSTARR.Dude has been putting it down in my hometown from classic hits such as Young Leek's ("Jiggle It")D.O.G.'s ("Ryda Girl"), and his own Hands Up Thumbs Down" and "You Keep on Fuckin' Around". Baltimore Club music has been big here but it's finally starting to get some national exposure thanks to the local Dj's such as Blaqstarr and Rod Lee and Frank Ski (who currently resides in Atlanta). Also due to sprinkles of the sound inside of The Neptunes array of hits.DJ Blaqstarr has even produced some of underground-phenomenon M.I.A.'s songs. The only way to describe this man's sound is "Ghetto-tech Funk". It's like James Brown's soul mixed with the baltimore street.
